1. Smart HX® system with PID system

With Smart HX® system, the ECM Mechanika allows you to adjust and monitor the group head temperature along with the boiler temperature. As a result, the MAX can offer two operating modes to ensure the correct brewing temperature.

What makes the MAX special is the temperature adjustment at the coffee brewing group head, allowing the PID to monitor and control the boiler temperature based on the temperature at the group head instead of just in the boiler.

2. Programmable on/off time settings

This is a feature that many users want in home espresso machines. The Mechanika MAX has a programmable on/off time setting that can be programmed for weekdays and weekends.

The correct start-up time allows for a more consistent extraction process, giving the E61 temperature and coffee filter basket a chance to stabilize before brewing. Up to two separate on/off times can be set for each weekday or weekend, providing flexibility for work and leisure schedules. In combination with the Clock function, the schedule can be programmed by the hour within a 10-minute interval.

3. Group head flush reminder system

Another highlight of the Mechanika MAX is the group head flush reminder system. This system will help keep the flavor of your coffee intact by reminding you to flush the water after a certain number of uses.

4. Brewing Temperature Control
