1. 3-way Temperature Control Switch

Located on the right side under the base of the machine, the new 3-way switch allows you to easily adjust between three boiler temperatures on the ECM Mechanika IV Slim espresso machine, as well as the ability to turn on or off pre-infusion and ECO energy-saving mode.

2. Compact Design

With a width of 25cm, the Mechanika VI Slim doesn't take up much counter space, fitting comfortably under standard cabinets and on countertops. It's one of the smallest heat exchanger espresso machines available. All the essentials of an ECM machine have been perfectly packed into the machine's compact design.

3. PID Temperature Controller

The PID controller - the brain of the ECM Mechanika IV Slim - allows you to set your desired brewing temperature with ~1 degree accuracy (Fahrenheit or Celsius). In addition to controlling and regulating the water tank, it also functions as a brewing timer, allows you to schedule machine cleaning reminders, and lets you program Eco Mode.

4. ECM Signature E61 Group Head

The group head maintains a consistent temperature using water from the thermosyphon system to ensure temperature stability. Additionally, it also has a pre-infusion chamber to aid in the extraction process.
